Diane Jenkins

Currently serves as President of the Friends of Ridge Road and Coordinator for the YLOR.  She holds an associates degree in Business Administration and a bachelor of science degree in Organizational Management.  Her passion is to see youth especially young ladies grow into mature adults that ultimately effect change.   Every venue of her life has led her to volunteer her services in a number of capacities.  She served as a volunteer youth counselor, mentor, and leader for Young Life for six years.  She is a mentor for Jacob's Ladder Program and volunteered as a tutor for Jabbok International Ministries.  She was a coordinator and facilitated a youth rap group, called "Let's Talk" at the Washington Mathematics and Science Public Charter High School and the Parent Support Group at the Dunbar Pre-Engineering Senior High School.  She organized seminars, workshops, as well as motivational talks to teens as well as their parents in her home.

It is Ms. Jenkins' desire to be a catalyst for positive change.  Her mission in life is to instill in each young lady that no matter what their past represents, there is a winner inside of them, and with Jesus Christ being their foundation, their past does not dictate their future success.
